Skills and Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
· Relevant certifications in PLC and SCADA systems are a plus.
Technical Skills:
· Strong experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, OMRON, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
· Hands-on experience with SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFix).
· Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC.
· Knowledge of control system architecture, automation, and process control.
Soft Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience
· Minimum of (3) years of hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA programming in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
· Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems.
· Previous involvement in system integration projects is highly desirable.
· Familiarity with process automation and control system engineering best practices.
Additional Information
· Willingness to travel globally to customer sites for commissioning and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
