The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of waste management equipment and vehicle such as compactors, shredders, balers, recycling systems and waste & cleaning vehicles.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on fieldwork, and customer service skills to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
Install, set up, and test waste handling and recycling equipment at customer sites.
Conduct commissioning and operator training for end-users.
Maintenance & Repair
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Replace worn-out parts and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Technical Support
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Prepare service reports, recommend spare parts, and advise on system upgrades.
Customer Service & Compliance
Act as the main technical contact for customers, ensuring timely and professional support.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies, workplace safety, and environmental regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, job reports, and spare parts usage.
Feedback common issues to engineering and product teams for continuous improvement.
