The position
You will sell and provide customer project- and solution life cycle services such as consulting, project management, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repairing of power solutions at the customer site, ensuring compliance with quality, health, and safety requirements.
For AEG PS products and systems, maintaining their continuous function will be central to your activities.
The position is based in Singapore, with potential travel across the region.
Main responsibilities
Visit customer sites as directed to install, maintain, commission, and repair power supply and related systems, including battery maintenance and swap-over.
Test and replace defective components to ensure the system operates according to predefined standards.
Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation of site visits, including field service reports, expenses, and overtime sheets.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Consult with customers and third parties to clarify terms and conditions related to on-site activities.
Provide technical training and instructions to personnel on the customer's site.
Use service repair equipment effectively and efficiently.
Monitor calibration needs or equipment exchanges.
Implement health and safety measures before entering customer sites.
Inform customers about potential system improvements and coordinate follow-up with the sales team.
Proactively promote customer services based on identified needs, such as maintenance contracts or product upgrades.
Qualifications and requirements
At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in repairing electrical/electronic equipment at the component level in a field service role.
Experience with power electronic systems and related installation, maintenance, and service procedures.
Willingness to work weekends and night shifts to ensure 24/7 availability to clients, according to the planning schedule.
Travel up to 80% of the time.
Proficiency in English (B2 level).
