Overview
Field Service Engineer (Marine) at Honeywell, based in Changi, Singapore.
You will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment and systems, while also managing service-related projects from initiation to completion.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Support: Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
Technical support: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients.
Root cause analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Safety & compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during service activities.
Project Management: Lead and manage service-related projects including upgrades, retrofits, and system integrations.
Planning: Develop project plans, schedules.
Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitoring & reports: Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
Documentation: Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.
Customer Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Training: Provide training and technical guidance to end-users.
Customer satisfaction: Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Project experience: Experience in project management and execution.
Documentation: Maintain detailed service records and project documentation.
Reporting: Prepare service reports, project updates, and feedback for continuous improvement.
Must Have
Degree in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering.
5-6 years of experience in field service engineering, with at least 2-3 years in project execution.
Strong understanding of Marine / industrial equipment, automation systems, or similar technologies.
Experience in managing small to medium-scale technical projects.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel and work at customer sites as required.
