Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and oversight of all financial functions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
Advise senior management and the board on financial planning, risk management, and capital structure decisions.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and SGX listing requirements.
Manage external audits, tax matters, and ensure strict adherence to corporate governance standards.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis:
Lead annual budgeting, long-term financial planning, and forecasting activities.
Deliver in-depth financial analysis to guide decision-making and evaluate business performance.
Risk Management & Internal Controls:
Develop, implement, and monitor robust financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, and reporting obligations.
Process Excellence & Digital Transformation:
Drive finance process improvements, leveraging ERP systems and automation to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
Explore adoption of business intelligence tools (preferably Power BI) and AI-driven solutions to support predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and mentor the finance team, building a high-performing and future-ready finance function.
Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to support strategic initiatives, investments, and operational excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Professional accounting certification required: CPA, ACCA, CA (Singapore), or equivalent.
Proven experience (10+ years) at senior finance leadership level (Finance Director, Controller, or equivalent).
Strong track record in financial reporting, corporate governance, and compliance; experience with SGX-listed companies is highly advantageous.
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Oracle NetSuite); familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI preferred.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and hands-on operational expertise.
