Who we are looking for and why

We are looking for a Financial Accountant, to support day-to-day transactions and financial procedures.

Ultimately, provides functional support to help maintain our company’s financial health and make sure we use our resources optimally.

What a Financial Accountant means to us and how can you help us

Someone who is interested in procedures like processing transactions, managing account records, analyzing financial data, revising and updating financial reports.

• Responsible for handling full set of accounts;




• Specialising in handling account payables business process;




• Generating monthly financial reports and relevant schedules (e.g. Fixed Assets/Prepayment);




• Performing analytical review and monitoring monthly expenses;




• Preparing financial statements and audit schedules;




• Maintaining all accounting records according to the current filing system;




• Performing monthly bank reconciliation;




• Liaising with purchasing department closely to follow up on pending purchase orders/delivery orders/supplier’s invoices;




• Preparing monthly payment schedules to vendors based on credit terms;




• Providing assistance with payroll administration;




• Processing employee expenses/claims;




• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned;

What we consider relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of relevant and proven working experience as a Financial Accountant.




• Degree in Accounting or in a relevant subject area.




• Has started/ commenced studies towards a professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA) would be an advantage.




• Computer literate, e.g., MS Word/Excel is a must.




• Proficiency in integrated financial management software; such as experience using Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.




• Good interpersonal and communication skills.




• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.




• Preferably experience in the Payments, E-Money or FX industry.




• Passionate about joining an early stage fintech, comfortable with ambiguity and have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.




• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology-driven environment, influence and challenge as required.




• Superior time management and very organized with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.




• Big 4 experience will be highly regarded.




• Fluent English speaker and writer.

• Month-end closing process on management account




• Able to use Oracle Netsuite confidently

• Up to date audit schedules and reconciliations
