Job description

Job Title: FOH Team Member

Open Position:

- Service Team Leader
Looking for a candidate with a strong interest in wine service who is comfortable hosting and handling all aspects of the restaurant floor.

Specific Job Scope and Duties will be disclosed for each role during first interview for selected candidates.

Location: CDB Singapore

Working Hours: 5 days a week, evening shift ( Outlet Operates evening shift only)

Transportation: After-hours transportation provided

Salary: Starting from $2800, open to discussion for exceptional candidates

Annual Leave (AL) and Benefits: Discussed during the interview

Oceanix, a pioneer in luxury dining concepts, is thrilled to unveil its groundbreaking F&B project Big Wine Freaks, the first of its kind in Singapore.

We are in search of dynamic and experienced FOH team Members to join our project and contribute to the success of our unique luxury dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.

  • Table Maintenance: Set up tables, including arranging table settings and ensuring cleanliness and organization.

    Clear tables promptly after guests finish dining.

  • Order Coordination: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered to tables in a timely manner.

  • Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.

  • Upselling: Suggest additional items, specials and wines to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.

  • Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and any other forms of payment accurately and efficiently.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other front-of-house staff, including hosts/hostesses and bartenders, to provide seamless service.

  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining area.

  • Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards, and comply with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interact positively with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide exceptional service.

  • Clear and effective communication is essential for taking orders accurately and collaborating with team members.

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities or guest demands.

  • Attention to Detail, Accuracy in order-taking, payment processing, and table maintenance.

  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Food Safety Knowledge, Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Positive Attitude:, aintain a warm and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests, fostering a friendly atmosphere.
