Our client, a cutting-edge startup, is developing next-generation quantum sensors using cold atom interferometry—measuring gravity, acceleration, and rotation with up to 1000x greater precision than today's technology.
They are now seeking an FPGA Engineer to drive the design, integration, and testing of embedded systems for their quantum gravimeter.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of FPGA, DDS, and embedded systems into our quantum gravimeter.
- Collaborate with external FPGA consultants to meet system requirements for firmware and embedded projects.
- Integrate and test firmware systems to ensure performance, reliability, and compatibility .
- Define firmware requirements and features with the CTO and physics team , ensuring the final product meets specifications.
About You
- At least 2 years of professional experience in firmware or embedded systems, with involvement in a complete project lifecycle.
- Hands-on expertise with modern FPGA, DDS, ADC, DAC, SoC, DAQ, and microcontroller technologies.
- Proficient in Python (C++ knowledge is a plus).
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on robustness, debugging, and handling edge cases .
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across cross-functional and remote teams.
- Self-driven, confident, and capable of moving projects forward independently.
- A genuine passion for emerging technologies .
