Job description

We are hiring a Franchise & Business Development Manager for a well-established globally recognised consumer brand.

You will play a key part in our client's next phase of growth, focusing on expanding its franchise and partner network both locally and internationally.

The company has been successfully franchising in the region for several years and has a set of SOPs and frameworks in place to support new market development.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded and driven individual to join a nurturing, people-first organisation that values collaboration and purpose.

A competitive base salary is offered, along with fixed and mobile allowances.

Responsibilities

As part of the business development team, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and onboarding new franchisees, licensees, or distributors.

This includes managing the full sales cycle - from lead generation and market research to pitching, negotiation, and partner onboarding.

With established internal processes and regional experience to guide you, you'll also support the operational setup of new partners and ensure alignment with brand standards.

Depending on your experience, you may focus on either the Singapore market or selected regional markets such as China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Regional travel may be required.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or franchise development - such as F&B, retail, education, or other franchised industries.

You should have strong communication and negotiation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities independently.

Experience working with partners across Asia or knowledge of specific regional markets will be an advantage.
