The Freight Executive is responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of high-value clients.
This role focuses on building long-term partnerships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Shipment Coordination & Documentation
• Handle full set of import/export shipping documents (e.g., BL, invoices, packing list, permits, customs declaration).
• Arrange bookings with carriers, airlines, or freight forwarders.
• Track and monitor cargo movement to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams on shipping schedules.
• Customs & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain updated knowledge of HS codes, tariffs, and duty requirements.
• Ensure shipments comply with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Liaise with customs brokers and authorities for clearance processes.
• Customer Service & Support
• Act as point of contact for customers regarding shipment status and inquiries.
• Provide timely updates and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or documentation errors.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers and partners.
• Logistics Operations
• Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams for smooth cargo handling.
• Maintain proper filing and records of all shipping documents.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and key clients.
• Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Custom Brokerage, operations, customer service) to ensure client needs are met.
• Resolve client issues efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of account interactions and activity
