What you'll be doing?
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Present and sell comprehensive freight forwarding services including air freight, ocean freight, project cargo, and bulk shipment solutions to existing and prospective customers while leading the sales team to achieve collective targets.
- Business Development Management: Lead prospecting efforts to hunt for new customers through strategic market analysis, networking initiatives, and targeted outreach campaigns that expand market share and revenue growth opportunities.
- Solution Architecture: Understand complex customer logistics requirements and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions that optimize their supply chain operations while demonstrating superior value proposition over competitors.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain positive long-term business relationships with key customers and stakeholders, serving as senior advisor for major accounts and complex logistics challenges.
- Performance Management: Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timeframes while monitoring team performance and providing guidance to ensure collective success and revenue objectives.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate comprehensive sales efforts with team members and other departments including operations, customer service, documentation, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Provide senior management with detailed reports and strategic insights on customer needs, market problems, business interests, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities for business growth.
- Regulatory Expertise: Maintain comprehensive understanding of Singapore Customs procedures and international trade regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert guidance to customers and team members.

- Senior-Level Experience: Professionals with minimum 3 years of direct experience in freight forwarding sales with established freight forwarding companies, demonstrating proven success and deep understanding of industry dynamics and customer needs.
- Management Capabilities: Experienced sales professionals ready to take on leadership responsibilities, with ability to mentor team members, develop sales strategies, and drive performance across multiple accounts and service lines.
- Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of freight forwarding operations including air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, documentation processes, and regulatory requirements that enable effective customer consultation and team guidance.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with proven track record of achieving sales targets, building high-performing teams, and developing sustainable business relationships in competitive freight forwarding markets.
