Overview
Full Time Wildlife Rehab Officer
Animal care and rehabilitation is important to improve the chances of survival for injured/sick animals so that they are ready to be released back to their habitat, and to keep them as healthy while they are under our care.
This position involves a lot of physical work and being outdoors.
However, it is also rewarding as you have a direct-involvement in the well-being of the animals.
Responsibilities
Prepare food and feed the animals.
Provide enrichments for the animals.
Clean the enclosures and cages.
Check and monitor for signs of distress, disease or injury.
Administer care for sick animals.
Check enclosures and cages for signs of wear and tear or damage.
Maintain daily animal healthcare records.
Perform final round for end-of-day inspection (animal care checklist and housekeeping).
Engage and work with volunteers.
Requirements
Able to commit 5 days a week from 9.30am-5.00pm.
Physically fit.
Professional in communicating with team members and volunteers.
Singaporean/PR.
