Role Summary:
The team sits in the finance domain, there are multiple projects they are looking into: Basel IV, IFRS 9, BEPS (Tax) and financial consolidation and reporting.
In all these domain areas, the team is looking for at least one key skill set, ie.
Data analysis and data mapping.
Responsibilities:
Primary role is to manage 'Run the Bank' change requests following the Quarterly Release (QR) framework and budget for finance and data domains.
Serve as single point of contact for all of business needs and manage all stakeholders (including various technical delivery teams) required for the change requests
Liaise with business users and formalize requirements
Liaise with technical delivery team for initial L0 estimates
Consolidate prioritised list of CRs for impact assessment, including effort estimates
Review impact analysis and cost quotation with business stakeholders for final prioritisation
Manage budget allocation and billings of prioritised change requests
Secondary role is to support departmental administrative activities such as onboarding/offboarding of resources, coordinate key meetings with various stakeholder for department head, prepare meeting deck, project dashboard, training arrangement.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or Finance or Engineering or Data Science.
At least 6 years' relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
Essential:
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Energetic, organized and analytical with an aptitude for details and able to work under pressure and independently.
Previous experience in system analysis and PMO work preferred
Fast learner and like to work with people
Excellent tracking skills
Key Domain/ Technical Skills:
Expert skills in MS excel, Excel Macros, MS power point, Sharepoint.
Experience in Software Development Cycle and JIRA
Good data analysis skills
