Urgent! General Insurance Manager Job Opening In Central Singapore Community Development Council – Now Hiring IPP Financial Advisers Pte Ltd



Job description

  • Strategic Use of General Insurance: Develop and implement strategies to position general insurance products as complementary solutions alongside life insurance, enhancing client engagement and cross-selling opportunities.

  • Drive Sales Performance: Lead the general insurance sales initiatives, setting clear targets and action plans.

    Monitor progress and ensure that the sales objectives are met or exceeded.

  • Sales Tracking & Reporting: Regularly track sales performance and provide comprehensive reports to management, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including life insurance managers, product development teams, and third-party providers, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of initiatives.

  • Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs for advisers to improve their knowledge and skills in general insurance products, as well as techniques to effectively integrate these into their life insurance advisory process.

  • Product Expertise: Stay informed about the latest developments in general insurance products and regulations, ensuring that the advisory team is equipped with the most up-to-date information.

  • Sales Production: Increase sales production of IPPFA GI products year on year.

  • Meeting with FARs/AGPs: Be meeting and liaising with IPP FARs / AGPs regularly as part of MSD-BD department to support, train and motivate IPPFA GI advisers to grow GI sales together.

  • GI Comparison: Assist in GI product comparison to create our Champion list of key GI products.

  • Meeting with GI Product Providers: Meet and liaise with GI product providers for sponsorships, volume bonus and other new business initiatives to excite our advisers
  • Sales Leads: Explore and increase leads generation with GI products and employee benefits seminars in corporations, so as to allow advisers to cross sell into life insurance products and investments
  • Any other Ad-Hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience with General insurance and Group insurance operations are included within scope of work
  • Min.

    Local Diploma and above
  • Min.

    2-3 years in the Group &/or General Insurance industry.

  • Experience in P-lines suite is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite
