We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our APAC operations from our Singapore hub.
This role represents a unique opportunity for an individual who thrives in a strategic leadership position and is passionate about driving business growth and operational excellence in a technically complex, safety-critical environment.
Your Role
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the performance, development, and profitability of InterMoor’s operations in the Asia Pacific region.
This includes full P&L responsibility and oversight of functional areas including QHSE, Commercial, Engineering, Projects, and Operations.
You will work closely with the Moorings Business Line Director and be an integral member of the global senior leadership team.
Your focus will be on executing long-term strategies, capturing new opportunities in both traditional offshore energy and the growing floating wind market, and ensuring excellence in operational delivery, customer satisfaction, and safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the regional business strategy aligned with InterMoor’s global vision, with a particular emphasis on sustainable growth, market diversification, and digital transformation
Commercial Growth & Client Engagement
Drive business development across oil & gas, marine, and renewable sectors.
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand the APAC market share, especially in emerging areas such as floating offshore wind
Operational Excellence
Oversee the safe and efficient delivery of all projects, ensuring high standards of engineering, logistics, and execution.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
P&L Management
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost control activities.
Take accountability for achieving revenue and EBITDA targets through disciplined performance management and strategic investment
Team & Culture Leadership
Build, lead, and motivate a diverse team of managers and technical experts.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture rooted in safety, accountability, and collaboration
QHSE Stewardship
Champion a culture of safety and risk management throughout the business.
Ensure compliance with Acteon’s QHSE framework and all relevant local and international standards
Collaboration & Influence
Partner with regional and global peers to ensure knowledge sharing, resource optimization, and alignment with group-wide goals.
Act as the regional representative in global business line meetings
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Expertise
• A minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience in offshore energy, marine services, or engineering solutions
• Proven track record of managing a multi-disciplinary team and delivering commercial success within a technical environment
• Experience leading P&L for a regional or country-level business unit
• Strong understanding of offshore infrastructure, floating systems, or marine construction is preferred

• Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Resilient, adaptable, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced and evolving market

Qualifications
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
An MBA or equivalent business qualification is desirable but not essential
