Job Description:
The Construction General Manager is responsible for overseeing all construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and leadership to drive the success of multiple sites and teams.
The General Manager will liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and manage all construction operations across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement project strategies, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee site managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure performance and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Manage procurement, contracts, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, quality control, and cost efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor construction teams to strengthen company capabilities.
