Job Title: Global Sales Strategist
Job Description
This role involves expanding and maintaining market share by addressing market demands in a competitive landscape.
The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of aggressive sales strategies aimed at onboarding resellers, including OTAs and travel agents, to our system.
- Combining markets through cold calling; researching and developing market segment targets; executing sales campaigns, and industry interaction.
- Promoting travel products via our system to travel agents worldwide.
- Maintaining positive relationships with key decision makers in travel agencies on coordinated sales efforts.
- Collaborating on strategic planning with internal staff to establish departmental goals, develop sales materials, branding, and promotions to increase sales.
- Representing us locally and out-of-town with a primary sales focus of potential outbound travel agents.
- Contacting prospective travel agents to initiate sales efforts.
- Ensuring sales efforts are progressing and meeting goals, targets, etc.
- Attending and participating in trade shows, industry meetings, sales efforts, bid presentations, and sales calls to promote our platform as a means to access over 80K products.
- Developing and conducting personal marketing and promotional visits to potential clients and making presentations in bidding on groups.
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business/Hospitality/Tourism or equivalent.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in related field required.
Senior position considered based on experience.
- Strong desire for tourism sales with career and industry growth focus.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
- Exceptional skills in sales, customer relations, communications, and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently with good judgment and initiative.
- Tourism experience an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
