Job description

Key Wholesale Operations Manager Position

The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wholesale Operations Manager to lead the wholesale business for the region, with a focus on the Singapore market.

  • Identify and attend key global events and trade shows to develop merchandising plans that drive business growth and meet sales targets.

  • Maintain close relationships with local partners through regular market visits, meetings, and business reviews.

  • Ensure business partners adhere to brand standards in retail operations, product assortments, visual merchandising, image, and client services.

  • Analyze performances for all relevant accounts and monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.

  • Fully manage the wholesale business for the region, with a focus on the Singapore market.

  • Identify operational and business improvement opportunities.

  • Utilize sales data to manage, develop, and serve existing accounts and convert new account opportunities.

  • Establish new sourcing networks and strengthen supplier relationships desirable to customers.

  • Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale consumer products, preferably in the industry.

  • Preferably with experience in wholesale/retail packaging and knowledge of wholesale vegetable and fruit products distribution.

  • Willingness to perform rotating shift work and flexibility to work late evenings.

  • Able to work longer hours, including weekends and public holidays, with no weekday work.

  • Knowledge of controlling storage room temperatures for fruits and vegetables.

  • Ability to withstand exterior noise and extreme temperature fluctuations in warehouses.

  • Field work required, including delivery when needed.

  • Good knowledge of product distribution through various channels.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Class 3 license compulsory.

  • Own transport preferred, with occasional travel required.
