As a cybersecurity trainee, leverage cutting-edge tools and analytical methods to monitor, investigate, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real time.
This role provides hands-on growth opportunities, fosters collaboration across technical and business teams, and helps build a secure digital finance ecosystem.
Job Responsibility
- Monitor security alerts and logs from cloud, network, and endpoint infrastructure, identifying and escalating threats using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security automation tools.
- Participate in incident response: triage, contain, investigate, and document security breaches and suspicious activity in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and routine security health checks, collaborating with engineering teams to remediate risks.
- Review and update incident runbooks and standard operating procedures as threats and business practices evolve.
- Support compliance activities: collect evidence for internal/external audits, ensure controls are in place, and contribute to policy development.
- Take part in security awareness campaigns to help employees recognize and prevent social engineering attacks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
- Strong foundation in networking, operating systems, and basic scripting (e.g., Python, Bash); familiarity with cloud environments is a plus.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical conduct and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills for reporting complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
