As a cybersecurity trainee, leverage cutting-edge tools and analytical methods to monitor, investigate, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real time.
This role provides hands-on growth opportunities, fosters collaboration across technical and business teams, and helps build a secure digital finance ecosystem.
Job Responsibility
Monitor security alerts and logs from cloud, network, and endpoint infrastructure, identifying and escalating threats using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security automation tools.
Participate in incident response: triage, contain, investigate, and document security breaches and suspicious activity in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and routine security health checks, collaborating with engineering teams to remediate risks.
Review and update incident runbooks and standard operating procedures as threats and business practices evolve.
Support compliance activities: collect evidence for internal/external audits, ensure controls are in place, and contribute to policy development.
Take part in security awareness campaigns to help employees recognize and prevent social engineering attacks.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
Strong foundation in networking, operating systems, and basic scripting (e.g., Python, Bash); familiarity with cloud environments is a plus.
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical conduct and continuous improvement.
Effective communication skills for reporting complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
