Our client is a well-established investment company.
Listed on the Singapore Exchange since 1983, our client's portfolio includes investment properties and development projects in Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines.
What you'll be doing?
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial, management, and regulatory reports for various stakeholders, ensuring timely submission and compliance.
- Consolidated Reporting: Provide precise group consolidated reporting in accordance with IFRS and local statutory guidelines, contributing to the company's financial transparency.
- Accounting Management: Ensure timely recording of accounting transactions and manage reporting schedules, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
- Tax Compliance: Handle quarterly GST submissions, corporate tax, and other statutory matters, ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with subsidiaries and associate companies on data requests and queries, fostering effective communication across the group.
- Financial Analysis: Identify and investigate anomalies, support budgeting processes, and analyze financial reports, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Auditor Liaison: Work closely with auditors and tax agents on financial and tax matters, ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior staff in the Finance Team, contributing to their professional development.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with ACCA/ISCA certification.
We value diverse educational experiences that contribute to financial expertise.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience, with SGX reporting experience being an advantage.
We appreciate candidates who bring a variety of experiences to the role.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and up-to-date knowledge of regulations and accounting standards.

- IT Skills: Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office and Excel.
