What you'll do:
As a Finance Associate (12 Months Contract), you will play an integral role in supporting the Group Finance function by ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in accounts payable operations.
Perform regular quality assurance reviews of accounts payable invoice processing activities across the team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor invoice data for correctness in coding, tax treatment, and adherence to approval workflows while providing timely feedback to the accounts payable team.
Support the development and refinement of invoice processing standards, templates, and controls to improve operational effectiveness.
Provide backup support for invoice entry and processing during high-volume periods or staff absences, ensuring continuity of service.
Assist with weekly payment runs and urgent payment requests as required by business needs.
Support supplier account reconciliations and maintain accurate vendor data records through diligent review and follow-up.
Contribute to weekly and monthly KPI reporting on invoice volumes, quality metrics, and turnaround times to inform performance improvements.
Assist with documentation and testing of internal controls aligned with regulatory requirements such as SOX, supporting audit readiness.
Prepare and post general ledger journal entries with appropriate backup documentation while contributing to month-end reporting schedules.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement finance systems enhancements.
What you bring:
Your proven experience as an emerging finance professional will be evident through your academic background in accounting or finance coupled with your keen attention to detail.
Candidates without experience or near completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field are welcome to apply as that is essential for building foundational knowledge relevant to this role.
Strong attention to detail combined with an interest in process improvement ensures you can identify errors or exceptions effectively.
Excellent communication skills-both written and oral-allow you to interact confidently with investment teams and suppliers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with ERP systems would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Numeracy skills enable you to manage complex data sets accurately within tight deadlines.
