A leading engineering and technology group is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their Singapore office.
Your new role
The Group Finance Manager will oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations, supervise a team of accountants, and serve as a business partner to the Head of Business Units.
Key responsibilities include:
Corporate Level Responsibilities – Oversee company accounts, review payment vouchers, and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage corporate tax filings, GST, and quarterly forecasts
- Monitor working capital, review variance analysis, and provide recommendations for process improvements
Group Level Responsibilities – Review group consolidation, lead financial planning and budgeting, and manage financial year-end closing
- Oversee XBRL filing, group insurance renewal, and negotiations with external auditors
- Develop and implement group initiatives, manage risk, and serve as a central point of contact for reporting and stakeholder management
Key Skills and Qualifications- Strong technical accounting and finance knowledge
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial systems and software (, IBM Consolidation Controller)
This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive financial excellence, provide business insights, and lead a team to achieve organisational goals.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require at least 7 to 10 years of experience in accountancy and finance and a Bachelor's Degree in the Finance space.
You are someone who has proven leadership experience and someone who is hands-on and a strong team player.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
