Requirements

We are looking for a GST Intern that is excited about the below Mission and Outcome.

Mission: The mission of a GST Intern is to provide administrative and operational support to the GST team, with a focus on GST registration and compliance processes.

The GST intern assists in the preparation and submission of GST registration applications, including compiling supporting documents and ensuring accuracy of information.

The GST intern also assists in the preparation, review, and filing of GST returns to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Developing technical knowledge and practical skills in GST reporting, registration, and compliance through mentorship and guided practice.

Outcomes:

• Compile and verify 100% of required documents for each GST registration, exemption and cancellation application accurately.
  
  
• Achieve on-time submission of 100% of GST registration forms without errors.
  
  
• Prepare and assist in GST returns and reports with 100% accuracy, ensuring deadlines are met.
  
  
• Provide prompt and professional support to clients, addressing queries and clarifying requirements with 97% positive feedback (CSAT) from clients.
  
  
• Demonstrate improvement in administrative and organizational skills by completing assigned GST tasks—including registration, filing, and reporting—within deadlines.
  
  

To do this, you will have basic experience or exposure in tax/GST and you will most likely be located in SINGAPORE.

The interview process

The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages.

We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.

Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role.

A ~60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager.

They'll discuss your last 1-2 roles to understand your experience in more detail.

Behavioural fit assessment

A ~60 minute chat with a member of the HR or leadership team, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work.

Offer + reference interviews

We'll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.

Requirement for background screening

Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to perform different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role.

This may include using external vendors to verify the below:

• Your education
• Any criminal history
• Any political exposure
• Any bankruptcy or adverse credit history
