**Job Description**
**Qualifications**
The selected intern will contribute to research and development activities around security aspects of chiplet-based architectures.
The focus will be on assessing the robustness of die-to-die interconnect standards in the context of potential leakage channels.
Key tasks include:
1.
Study and analyze chiplet interconnect protocols from a security perspective.
2.
Characterize patterns of information leakage related to power consumption and timing behavior.
3.
Evaluate the feasibility of different classes of attacks exploiting such leakage channels.
4.
Investigate the potential for sensitive components in chiplet-based systems to contribute to side-channel exposure.
5.
Explore and document possible mitigation strategies to enhance resilience against leakage.
6.
Prepare technical documentation and reports summarizing findings, experiments, and recommendations.
**Additional Information**
Pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
1.
Strong foundation in digital systems, SoC design, or computer architecture.
2.
Knowledge of hardware security concepts such as side-channel attacks, fault injection, or secure hardware design.
3.
Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, C/C++, or similar).
4.
Ability to analyze experimental data and document findings effectively.
