Head Chef (Chocolaterie & Patisserie)
Location: Singapore | Full-time

At Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie, we believe Asian chocolate deserves to stand amongst the best in the world.

We work directly with cacao farmers across Asia to craft bean-to-bar chocolate that is bold, complex, and unforgettable.

Our mission is to change the way people experience chocolate - from guilty treats to celebrated ingredients of endless possibility.

We go beyond the chocolate bar and on top of retail products we also have an all-day dining program of pastries, plated desserts, and chocolate-inspired dining.


The Role
We’re looking for a Head Chef (Chocolaterie & Patisserie) who lives and breathes chocolate, patisserie, and creativity.

This is not just a back-of-house role - it’s a chance to shape an entire culinary experience.

You’ll be leading a passionate team, pushing the boundaries of how chocolate is enjoyed, and crafting menus that make people fall in love with chocolate all over again.


What You’ll Do
Dream up and create seasonal menus across retail products, pastry, and plated desserts - always with chocolate at the heart.


Lead the kitchen team with equal parts discipline and inspiration.


Build a culture of craft, curiosity, and consistency.


Drive R&D projects that surprise and delight (new pairings, textures, and forms of chocolate expression).


Keep a sharp eye on kitchen operations: costing, prep systems, workflow, and sustainability.


Collaborate with our brand and FOH teams to bring stories to life through food.


Mentor the next generation of pastry and chocolate chefs.


Champion Mr. Bucket’s mission by showcasing the excellence of Asian cacao through your creations.


Who You Are
A chef with serious pastry and chocolate expertise (7+ years experience, with at least 3 in leadership).


You thrive in both creative expression and operational excellence.


You’ve got a fine dining or luxury hotel background, but you’re itching for something less traditional and more imaginative.


You’re as comfortable working on a plated dessert for two as you are scaling production for a café.


A natural leader who inspires and guides, not just manages.


Obsessed with detail, but never at the expense of soul.


Passionate about chocolate, sustainability, and storytelling through food.
