We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage kitchen operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Plan and develop menus, incorporating creativity while maintaining cost control
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to consistent quality and presentation standards
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock management
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve performance goals
- Control food costs and minimise wastage through efficient practices
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, promotions, and new concepts
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a restaurant or hotel environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to manage costs while delivering high-quality food
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
