Major Project Funnel Development
Drive the development of a robust Major Project Funnel across both NBS and MOD segments.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, qualify, and prioritize key project opportunities.
Monitor funnel health and address gaps proactively to support sustained business growth.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with KONE’s short- and long-term goals.
Ensure strategies are integrated with frontline, area, and global organizational objectives to drive cohesive growth.
Market / segment Expansion
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance market positioning and profitability.
Focus on key segments including Infrastructure, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare over New Construction and Modernization.
Drive the recovery of underperforming areas through targeted strategic and commercial actions.
Complex Project Leadership
Lead and manage large-scale, complex growth initiatives across NBS and MOD.
Ensure effective execution and stakeholder alignment in high-impact projects.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong networks with key external stakeholders such as authorities, developers, consultants, and builders.
Leverage relationships to strengthen business influence and pipeline quality.
Providing value added solutions through early influencing workshops with key stakeholders.Sales & Business Development Leadership
Oversee all business development functions, including leads development, sales support, marketing, key accounts, and major projects.
Ensure both NBS and MOD segments achieve defined sales and growth targets.
Lead and coach business development managerCollaborate closely with Sales heads and support deal closureKey Account Management
Maintain and grow long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring ongoing engagement and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).Progressive experience in business development, strategy, or commercial leadership.Proven track record in managing large-scale strategic initiatives and partnerships.Familiarity with the built environment, infrastructure sectors, or smart building technologies is an advantage.#LI-PS1
