Overview
Meta is seeking a strategic and results-driven partnerships leader to lead key partnerships in business messaging for the APAC region.
You will grow and mentor a high-performing regional team of partner managers that works cross-functionally to build and develop business messaging partnerships for Meta, and become a true partner to our partners.
This role will work with influential Meta Business Partners in Asia Pacific to drive business growth and innovation for clients and partners.
Partners include the region’s top commerce platforms and marketplaces, marketing and creative technology platforms, and customer relationship management platforms.
This role requires an experienced people manager with a product partnerships or business development background, who is passionate about partners, products and people.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a high performing team of experienced partner managers
- Own the overall revenue and operational goals
- Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and business as well as manage day-to-day operations
- Identify, initiate and lead strategic business opportunities with key partners, working with product, engineering, marketing, programs, and other cross-functional stakeholders as required
- Represent Meta in external meetings with executives, both internally and externally
- Collaborate with international teams in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 15+ years of professional experience with 7+ years of partnerships and business development experience and 5+ years of experience in people leadership
- Experience building and leading teams, coaching and developing individuals, characterized by a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment
- Established success building C-Suite relationships and influencing product direction
- Partnerships or business development background
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate to wide-ranging audiences internally, globally and externally, especially at leadership levels
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a proven track record in data-driven decisions
- Proven track record of collaborative problem solving and cross-functional relationship-building
- Shaped technology product direction, strategy and roadmap through quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Willingness to travel and work across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in a Southeast Asian or North Asian language is preferred due to regional relationship management
- Relevant experience in the commerce or marketing technology ecosystem
- Experience and understanding of Asia Pacific markets
