Job Summary:
The incumbentwill be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the organisation's digital and IT infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, security, and digital innovation.
A visionary leader with deep expertise in IT infrastructure, emerging technologies, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, this person will work closely with the Executive Leadership to align technology with organisational goals and ensure seamless, secure, and scalable technology solutions.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategic Leadership & Technology Vision
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital and IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with the organisation's mission and growth plans.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and digital engagement.
- Lead organisation-wide digital transformation initiatives to optimise workflows, improve service quality, and enhance user experience.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance in all digital and IT operations.
2.
AI Vision & Strategy
- Defining and executing the company's AI and other emerging technologies roadmap.
Developing and communicating a clear vision for AI implementation across the organisation, identifying key areas where AI can add value and also can pose potential risks.
3.
Infrastructure & Service Quality Management
- Oversee IT infrastructure, network security, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture to ensure robust, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the IT service management best practices to enhance system reliability, uptime, and efficiency.
- Implement cybersecurity policies and risk management frameworks to safeguard organisational data and systems.
- Optimise IT support and service delivery, ensuring high-quality user experience for employees, volunteers, and external stakeholders.

Digital Solutions & Systems Applications
- Lead the development and integration of enterprise software, cloud applications, and digital platforms to support programme delivery and organisational needs.
- Provide oversight and guidance in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CRM, ERP, and other core business systems.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive digital innovation and streamline business processes through technology solutions.
- Support data analytics and business intelligence efforts to enhance decision-making and performance tracking.
5.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor the technology team across infrastructure, service quality, digital solutions, and systems applications.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability within the technology department.
- Set clear performance goals, provide direction, monitor progress, and provide professional development opportunities.
6.
Stakeholder & External Relations
- Collaborate with department heads to align technology initiatives with organisational priorities.
- Engage with external technology partners, vendors, and service providers to optimise IT investments and solutions.
- Represent the organisation in industry forums, partnerships, and collaborations related to digital transformation and IT excellence.
Background and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in IT leadership, digital transformation, or infrastructure management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
