About the opportunity
As the Head of Logistics-as-a-Service (LaaS), you will lead foodpanda’s dedicated logistics arm across 17 markets in the EU, Turkey, and APAC.
You will own the business end-to-end: commercial strategy, go-to-market, revenue & margin, while ensuring operational excellence, merchant satisfaction, and customer experience.
Your focus will be on scaling LaaS adoption among restaurants and grocery retailers—strengthening foodpanda’s ecosystem and enabling merchants of all sizes to grow through reliable, on-demand delivery.
This role is based in Singapore and open to Singaporean & PRs.
Key responsibilities:
Commercial leadership & P&L ownership
Define and execute commercial strategy for pandago across 17 markets.
Own revenue growth, margin improvements, pricing/packaging models, and enterprise deals.
Business development & partnerships
Expand LaaS’ adoption across restaurants, grocery chains, and SMEs across EU, Turkey, and APAC.
Negotiate contracts, build long-term partnerships, and unlock cross-sell opportunities that drive volume and loyalty.
Operational excellence
Ensure fast, reliable, and cost-efficient delivery that meets restaurant and grocery SLAs. Work closely with the logistics team to continuously improve operational performance.
Product & tech collaboration
Partner with Product and Tech teams to ensure the right features, tools, and integrations are built to support merchant needs and drive adoption.
Data & insights
Use data to generate insights, guide decision-making, and inform strategy across pricing, partnerships, and operations.
Team leadership & cross-functional collaboration
Lead and cultivate high-performing teams in commercial, operations, and partnerships.
Work closely with Country MDs, Commercial, Product, Finance, Legal, and Logistics to align strategy and execution across multiple regions.
10+ years experience in sales, business development, strategy or operations, with a track record of building strong executive relationships
Preference for experience in similar industries like e-commerce, internet, logistics/delivery services
Proven track record of P&L ownership and commercial leadership.
Strong experience working with restaurants, grocery retailers, and SMEs.
Excellent financial and analytical skills; able to translate data insights into commercial strategy.
Strong leadership and communication skills; able to drive performance across diverse markets.
SQL; comfortable extracting and analyzing data independently to drive decisions.
