Overview
Role Description:
Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies in line with the organization’s long term strategic plan.
The incumbent will evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
The role will be responsible for overseeing the execution of marketing plans, advertising and promotional staff and activities in the region.
The Incumbent ensures effective linkage of regional marketing plans and activity and that differences in the regional markets are recognised and built into the overall strategy/marketing plans.
The scope of responsibility encompasses events, digital / social media, marcom, e-Commerce marketing, customer loyalty & corporate guidelines adherence with the following aspects:
- Strategize and develop marketing objectives.
- Lead team to conceptualize campaigns.
- Develop and execute visual merchandising for all PLC stores.
- Lead marketing team to monitor, create and formulate analysis of retail market trend.
- Campaign for launch of site with media to build brand equity.
- Manage and track marketing budget for marketing activities.
Key stakeholders & relations for the incumbent are as follows:
- Supervise marketing in Singapore.
- Oversee marketing team in Malaysia.
- Guide marketing team for our Franchises in Thailand, Bangkok, Philippines & Vietnam.
- Work with internal stakeholder and external agencies
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant marketing experience.
- Experience with fast moving consumer goods.
- Experience with e-commerce marketing and product.
- Experience in digital marketing channels and campaigns.
- Experience in the rollout of a digital marketing platform.
- Proven track record in leading and managing people, organisation goals and business objectives.
- Strong people and project management skills
- Innovative, entrepreneurial, resourceful, self-motivated to work with grey scope and processes to bring about technology.
- Strong marketing analytical skills, performance KPIs, communication and negotiation skills.
