This will include developing and growing the Markets business in the region, increasing client and member numbers, managing the risk profile of the region, and building relationships at senior levels in the market, regulatory and government bodies.The role manages the LCH Ltd and Post Trade Solutions Sales and Run teams based in Japan, Australia and Singapore, as well as having oversight responsibility for the FX teams in the regions.The role holder will have strong commercial relationships at top tier of banks, other financial institutions as well as regulatory bodies across the region.

They will be a seasoned executive, adept at driving commercial outcomes, building product in a resilient manner and meeting customer needs, as well as demonstrating an enterprise mindset.Key responsibilities of the role:* Reporting to the CEO LCH Ltd as well as having accountability to the other Heads of Business within the Markets division, the role has primary responsibility for the profitability and growth, the strategic and commercial outcomes for the Markets business in the APAC region.* Provides oversight for first line risk and service operations in the region.* With responsibility for Sales and the RUN teams, the role leads the Markets team across the region, coaching and developing key talent and building a high performing team.* Leading in the development and implementation of the divisions’ strategic programmes for the region.* Guide the business heads in overall direction, strategy and vision for division, taking into account the perspective of APAC based members, clients, regulators as well as legal or technological constraints* Responsible for the profile of the businesses within APAC, as well as building the profile of the APAC region within the group.* Leverage LSEG relationship with the APAC region to enhance local client and regulatory engagement, ensuring compliance with local market standards and requirements.* Be the key connectivity to regional banks senior management to generate product ideas that are backed by strong business case and work with business line partners* Manages the full commercial performance for the APAC Markets teams keeping a strong eye on revenue, expenses and cost drivers, as well as market opportunities / forces affecting these, ensuring the division is within the allocated budget* Identifies emerging strategic opportunities within the APAC region which may extend the products and services available to clients through the innovation, partnership or acquisition of new business areas as well as cross selling within the Group* Represents the Markets teams in the APAC region, including attendance at functions, industry events and public meetings* Demonstrates and role models the LSEG Values, including leading with a strong enterprise mindset, partnering with other LSEG divisions in the region to drive commercial strategy and outcomes for the group as a whole.**Skills and Experience*** Strong experience directing strategy and delivery in an international, large-scale organisation.* Deep knowledge of financial markets in APAC region as well as LSEG’s business, members, products, services, competitive and regulatory landscape.* Ability to represent the company in the marketplace with clients, regulatory and industry bodies, and participate in Board meetings, industry events and public meetings* Established and extensive network of industry participants across customer segments within the APAC region.* Develops new market initiatives, assesses new markets and analyses domestic and international business opportunities* Extensive people leadership and stakeholder engagement experienceJoin us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
