Head of Nursery (Founding Early Years Leader)
We have been
retained exclusively
by our client, a leading UK-based international school group establishing its new flagship campus in Singapore, to appoint a visionary
Head of Nursery (Founding Early Years Leader) .

This is a rare opportunity to design, launch, and lead a world-class early years programme from the ground up — shaping the curriculum, team, and culture that will define the school’s foundation and future success.


Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and opening of the Nursery and Kindergarten from concept to operation.


Design a play-based, inquiry-led curriculum aligned with UK EYFS and international best practice.


Recruit, mentor, and inspire a founding team of early years educators.


Oversee operational readiness, facilities setup, and ECDA compliance.


Partner with marketing and admissions to build awareness and drive enrolment.


Create a nurturing, inclusive environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and wellbeing.


Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Master’s preferred) and recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, EYTS, or equivalent).


5–7 years of early years teaching experience, with at least 3 in leadership.


Proven success in establishing or scaling an early years programme.


Deep knowledge of EYFS, inquiry-based pedagogy, and international best practice.


Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.


Eligibility for ECDA recognition (e.g. DECCE-L) advantageous.
