The VP, Nursing / Head of Nursing Administration provides leadership and management oversight to the nursing department in care provision matters.
This role supports and assists the CEO / Administrator in maintaining the standards of nursing practice; ensuring safe, high quality, efficient and cost-effective clinical care is delivered to clients.
The Role
As a Head of Nursing, you will:
- Responsible for managing nursing manpower, financial and training resources and deploying nurses to meet areas of service needs.
- Oversees the daily activities, home-based nursing care, ensures everything operates as planned.
- Oversees the performance of nursing practice and departmental key performance indicators.
- Leads a culture of continuous improvement in nursing quality, productivity and innovation.
- Organize, direct and coordinate medical, nursing and health services in compliance with relevant government regulations and policies.
- Supervise the nursing staff and overseeing client care as well as administrative functions such as records keeping and budgeting.
- Acts as the closest link between the registered medical practitioner, nurses and management to ensure that all registered nurses, enrolled nurses and care concierges offer the best support to the RMP in providing to the clients.
- Provides leadership and oversight in the planning, development, coordination and evaluation of nursing services.
- Promotes interdepartmental working relationship to enhance cooperation and collaboration to deliver positive care and service experience.
- Ensures standardization of developmental framework for clinical practice, and education across all wards.
- Ensure quality audits are planned and conducted periodically.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Nursing.
(Master degree is desirable).
- Possess a registered nursing certificate and registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
- Experience in project management / coordination of a nursing home set-up will be a distinct advantage.
- Min 15 years' in relevant local experience in hospital and / or nursing home setting.
- Proven experience in nursing management and leadership.
- 5 days' work week (including weekends / PH - 830am to 6pm)
