Our Client is an established and leading Fintech and Payment platform, currently looking for a Head of Onboarding.
Job Description
Lead the Onboarding team and manage new client onboarding activities.
Develop and maintain KYC/CDD/EDD procedures in line with MAS regulations and internal policies.
Review and approve onboarding cases, including high‐risk profiles.
Manage ongoing due diligence and Periodic Reviews to keep customer data accurate.
Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Front Office to balance regulations and business needs.
Ensure quality control, timely escalations, and proper recordkeeping.
Provide expertise during regulatory inspections, audits, and governance meetings.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Mentor team members to build a strong onboarding function.
Lead ad‐hoc projects such as system upgrades and regulatory changes.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field; AML/Compliance certification (such as CAMS) is preferred.
At least 7 years of strong Onboarding and KYC, CDD/EDD experience within the Payments, Fintech or Banking Industry.
Experience leading a sizable onboarding team.
In-depth knowledge of MAS AML/CFT regulations (PSN01, MAS 626) and FATF standards.
Proven experience managing high‐risk clients, complex structures, and regulatory escalations.
