The Emerging Systems Division focuses research and development on a broad spectrum of capabilities that are critical to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) defence systems.
These include antenna design and electromagnetics, as well as next-wave technologies in the areas of lasers and advanced materials.

High Power Electromagnetics Engineer
In This Role, You Will
Conduct research and development in high power electromagnetic area such as circuitries or devices that generate high power electromagnetic fields
Analyse specifications/requirements from users
Use analytical techniques or computational modelling to validate the design of the circuitries or devices as well as to understand the effect of high-power electromagnetics on electronics
Design, develop test plan, conduct experiment and analyse results on high power electromagnetic experiments and identify any gaps
Support the complete R&D project life cycle and participate in all phases from concepts to demonstrations, including design, prototyping and validation and refinement of designs
Job Requirements
PhD / Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or any related field
Familiar with software simulation tools such as CST, Solidworks etc.
Familiar with operating measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer etc.
Familiar with operating high voltage equipment/component such as power supply, spark gap switches, semiconductor switches and diodes
Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
