Job Description – Security Officer (SO)
Job Purpose
To safeguard premises, property, and people by conducting patrols, monitoring security systems, and enforcing site rules and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
l Conduct routine patrolling and guarding of assigned premises.
l Monitor access points, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs.
l Operate CCTV and other security equipment.
l Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly.
l Prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or damage.
l Provide assistance and directions to visitors or staff.
l Report security incidents and prepare accurate daily reports.
l Comply with company and regulatory security standards.
Requirements
l Valid Security Officer licence (e.g., PLRD in Singapore).
l Basic security training certifications as required.
l Physically fit, alert, and reliable.
l Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Good communication and customer service skills.
