Our organization seeks a seasoned Home Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and compliant operation of our Welfare Home.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the well-being and development of residents, as well as maintaining facility standards and overseeing programs and services.
You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing facilities, and overseeing administration and records.
A successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong administrative abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements by staying up-to-date on relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Supervise daily care of residents and maintain facility cleanliness, including dormitories, toilets, kitchens, and meal preparation.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor resident well-being and facility standards.
- Develop and manage duty rosters, allocate tasks to staff, and plan activities for residents.
- Oversee administration and records, including budgeting, accounts, and reporting.
- Recruit, train, and appraise staff performance, and develop staff training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology, or equivalent experience in the social service sector.
- At least 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience in a related field.
- Excellent administrative and financial management skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in motivating and leading teams effectively.
