We are pleased to be partnering with a leading organisation in the Consumer sector to appoint a HR Director.
This is a high-impact leadership role that will shape the future of HR across the company, driving transformation, employee engagement, and operational excellence to support the growth and continued success of the business.
This is a full-time, on-site, permanent role based in Singapore, with a total workforce size of approximately 3,000 employees, and you will be leading a sizeable HR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume full ownership of the HR strategy, encompassing Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, and Payroll.
- Lead a closely knit HR team to build a culture where HR partners with and supports the business, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with C-suite executives and managers to understand the business and support the strategy through workforce planning, succession planning, talent pipelining, optimization of HR processes, and more.
- Champion culture across a geographically and culturally diverse workforce to ensure employees feel engaged, supported, and motivated.
- Governance and compliance will be at the crux of the remit; lead the team to ensure HR processes adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
Ideal Profile
- Seasoned, strategic and hands-on HR leader with a proven track record in HR leadership roles.
- Experience in Consumer/Hospitality/Retail sectors is an advantage, but candidates with relevant HR-director experience are welcome to apply.
- At least 15 years of HR Generalist experience in mid to large-size organizations (ideally 1,000+ employees) and prior experience leading large teams.
- Experience managing diverse workforces and leading change management and process transformation.
- Solid understanding of HR systems and data analytics.
- Relevant degree and a genuine passion for purpose-driven work, with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to build trust, navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, and foster a culture of empathy, inclusion, and collaboration.
