Sushi Express Group Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous and proactive HR Executive to support our growing team across multiple outlets.
This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and supports a wide range of HR functions including employee lifecycle processes, payroll, HR systems and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and passionate about supporting people operations in a fast-paced F&B environment.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Serve as the first point of contact via email for all HR-related queries including onboarding, internal movements and exits
- Administer end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes in compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system
- Creation and maintenance of all hires' information records in HRIS system including uploading of employee documents
Payroll & Compensation
- Execute (monthly and out-of-cycle) payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Compilation and uploading of monthly & out of cycle payroll incentives (PT Incentive, Dishwashing Incentive, Loyalty Incentive, Chef L1 Incentive, PT Referral Bonus etc)
- Prepare and submit monthly outlet-specific payroll reports (Movement Cost, Total Working Hours, Chef Report, PowerBI report)
- Maintain and update records for sign-on bonuses and employee referral payouts
- Prepare and submit outlet-based IR8A and IR21 for departing outlet-based foreign employees
- Prepare yearly payroll processing calendar
HRIS & Systems Support
- Provide first-level support for HRIS-related issues, including tablet troubleshooting
- Liaise with external vendor for complex system issues and enhancements
- Manage access creation for new and existing users
- Participate in HRIS-related projects and system upgrades
Training & Development
- Oversee and manage the full outlet exam portfolio, including regular updates and enhancements to Management and Chef exam papers to ensure relevance and alignment with internal SOPs and Memos
- Maintain and continuously improve the exam question database, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with learning objectives
- Collaborate closely with Training Admin to verify completion of prerequisite training modules prior to exam registration
- Administer the marking and tabulation of exam results, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely decisions on employee promotions, demotions or further development needs
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee enrolment and termination in the MHC benefits system
- Monitor and track probation periods for outlet and processing kitchen staff, including preparation of confirmation letters for successful completions and probation extension letters where applicable
HR Projects & General Administration
- Participate in company-wide HR surveys and initiatives
- Support HR Manager in various projects including policy and process improvements
- Handle general administrative tasks such as monthly ordering of food for management meetings etc
- Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Singapore employment regulations and statutory requirements (MOM, CPF, IRAS)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced F&B environment
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities with a high level of organization
- Open-minded, adaptable, and resilient to change
- Meticulous, team-oriented, and self-driven with a positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Solid knowledge of payroll principles, taxation, and employment laws in Singapore
- Hands-on experience with full payroll processing, preferably using Infotech Systems
- Experience with basic Power BI is a plus
- Able to start immediately or within 1 week is highly preferred
