We’re looking for a HR Executive, C&B (SG & MY).
This role offers a unique opportunity for an HR generalist looking to deepen their expertise in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) while supporting regional initiatives across Singapore and Malaysia.
The role plays a key part in ensuring competitive, fair, and compliant reward practices, while providing exposure to strategic HR analytics and business partnering.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary
Support the planning and execution of the annual HR cycles, including budgeting, performance bonus, salary review, long-term incentive plans, and benefits harmonisation for Singapore and Malaysia.
Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and business planning.
Manage end-to-end C&B administration (excluding payroll processing), including:
Acting as the Benefits, Leaves and Travel & Reimbursement Administrator, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
Providing guidance to employees on benefits-related matters.
Coordinating annual insurance renewals, preparing competitive proposals, and organising staff briefings with insurance partners.
Conducting salary benchmarking and market analysis to support internal equity and competitiveness.
Participate in salary and labour market surveys and generate ad-hoc reports on employment trends (e.g., salary expectation forecasts for the upcoming year).
Managing training registrations, grant submissions and claims.
Ensuring compensation practices align with internal equity standards and local legislation.
Secondary
Monitor and analyse market trends in benefits (medical, insurance, and flexible benefits) to propose forward-looking strategies.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners on career progression frameworks and talent development initiatives.
Partner with HRBPs to conduct pulse surveys and focus groups aimed at improving employee engagement and workplace culture.
Any other duties as assigned by the head of department that is part of HR business partnering.
WORKING EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2–4 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist role with exposure to compensation cycle management (annual bonus, annual increment, budget exercises), HR operations, or analytics supporting different stakeholders in established companies with at least 500 headcounts.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Strong command of PowerPoint, tech-savvy and resourceful especially when navigating HR systems.
Sound understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR practices.
Proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.
The ability to speak a 2nd or 3rd language will be an advantage.
HR experience in Malaysia will be a huge advantage.
