HR Manager


Position Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions within the organization.

This role will play a strategic and operational part in driving HR initiatives that align with the company's business objectives, regulatory requirements, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Recruitment & Selection

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent within the insurance industry.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and plan workforce requirements.

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

  • Work Pass application, renewal and cancellation.

2.

Training & Development

  • Maintain staff training records and assists in training registration.

  • Monitor and track CPD hours

3.

Performance Management

  • Assist in the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.

  • Provide guidance to managers on performance coaching, feedback, and career development.

4.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Process monthly payroll and generate HR/Payroll related reports
  • Participate in statutory surveys, MAS & MOM etc
  • Submit government claims
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including insurance coverage and wellness initiatives.

5.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and industry regulations.

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Handle all other HR Projects and Administrative matters and undertake tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience, with minimum 3 years in managerial capacity.

  • Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law, HR best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving ability.
