What The Role Is
You develop, review and promulgate manpower policies and guidelines to attract, recruit, manage, and retain quality people in the organisation.
What You Will Be Working On
On this, you conduct research, analyse data and trends, consult stakeholders, propose appropriate recommendations for management’s decision, as well as communicate and implement the policies.
You also evaluate deviation requests from policy guidelines, provide guidance and advice to HR practitioners on the application of policies, and undertake projects as assigned by management to support the formulation and review of manpower policies in MINDEF/SAF.
Your challenges lie in being able to work in a high-tempo and dynamic environment, well-versed in MINDEF/SAF manpower policies, processes and regulations, as well as being keenly aware of organisational developments, key initiatives, industry-wide trends and best market practices.
What We Are Looking For
You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with at least 2 years’ work experience in human resource.
Possession of good analytical, interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills is essential.
Having proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and other statistical programmes is advantageous.
Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
