Role Overview
You will lead end-to-end People & Culture delivery for the Company and provide consultative HR support to associate companies in the Singapore market.
You'll partner closely with senior leaders and COEs across Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Recruitment, Employee/Industrial Relations, Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Organisational Effectiveness to drive business outcomes, engagement, and culture.
What You'll Be Doing
1) Strategic HR Management & Business Partnering
- Partner with senior management to design and execute HR plans that enable strategic business initiatives.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, development, performance, engagement, offboarding).
- Plan and run annual HR cycles: goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and C&B review.
- Coach line managers to elevate their people leadership, feedback, and role-modelling behaviours.
- Collaborate with COEs to drive employee engagement via focus groups and action plans; track outcomes.
- Strengthen succession pipelines through targeted development programs and interventions aligned to talent reviews.
2) Employee Relations / Industrial Relations & Compliance
- Support compliance with employment policies and Singapore legislation; uphold TAFEP fair employment practices.
- Support union engagement activities and participate in Collective Bargaining exercises in partnership with leaders.
- Guide managers on ER/IR matters (grievances, investigations, counseling) with balanced risk management and care.
3) Change & Transformation Projects
- Lead people change management and drive transformation initiatives (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors enhancements, Compensation & Benefits projects).
- Align processes, data, communications, and training to enable smooth adoption and measurable impact.
4) Recruitment & Employer Branding
- Design and implement Talent Acquisition programs, including Management Trainee and Internship pipelines.
- Lead recruitment campaigns, university engagement, and career fair initiatives to build a strong talent funnel.
- Coach hiring managers on competency-based interviewing and structured selection.
- Own the recruitment budget across functions; optimise channels (agencies, direct sourcing, referrals) and tap cross-country expertise where relevant.
- Ensure engaging onboarding and Day-1 readiness for a best-in-class new joiner experience.
- Lead employer branding in market, aligning with Group/Regional EVP for consistent, meaningful narratives.
5) Internal Communications & Engagement
- Drive effective, meaningful communications via internal memos, the company WhatsApp channel, and other platforms.
- Own the local intranet portal; curate content with cross-functional stakeholders so it becomes the heartbeat of engagement.
- Serve as the focal point for internal communications; ensure clarity, cadence, and alignment to priorities.
- Organise and lead monthly Townhalls.
- Plan and deliver the Annual Dinner & Dance, in conjunction with the Annual Business Conference.
6) Learning, Development & Organisational Effectiveness
- Collaborate with COEs and functional leaders to map capability needs and craft learning pathways.
- Deploy continuous learning cycles (on-the-job, coaching, classroom/virtual, peer learning) with clear outcomes.
- Support organisation design, team effectiveness, and change interventions to enable performance at scale.
7) HR Operations & People Analytics
- Ensure data accuracy in HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and produce people insights & dashboards to inform decisions.
- Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
Are You the One?
- Degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within FMCG and MNC environments.
- Broad, effective working knowledge across C&B, Talent, Recruitment, ER/IR, L&D, Performance, OE.
- Proven strengths in stakeholder management, influencing, coaching, and communication.
- Experience with Singapore ER/IR (including union engagements/CB) and policy compliance.
- Demonstrated capability in change management and HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).
- Data-literate with a bias for action, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on culture.
