Job description

The HR Business Partner will work closely with the retail operations and business leadership teams to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and workforce engagement across multiple store networks.

This role is responsible for implementing HR strategies that support business growth while ensuring operational excellence in all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  2. Lead recruitment efforts for store-level, supervisory, and corporate positions.

  3. Develop recruitment channels and talent pipelines tailored for frontline and retail management roles.

  4. Work with business leaders to forecast manpower needs and optimize staffing models.

  5. Performance Management & Incentive Programs

  6. Design, implement, and continuously improve performance evaluation systems aligned with business KPIs.

  7. Develop incentive and reward mechanisms to enhance sales team motivation and retention.

  8. Support managers in performance coaching and feedback delivery.

  9. Employee Relations & Engagement

  10. Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

  11. Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and communication strategies.

  12. Monitor employee morale across store locations and propose retention strategies.

  13. HR Policy Implementation & Compliance

  14. Ensure all HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies.

  15. Standardize HR operations across stores, including onboarding, exit procedures, and documentation.

  16. Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and operational consistency.

  17. Organizational Development & Training

  18. Identify training needs in collaboration with operations leaders.

  19. Design and deliver training programs for frontline staff, supervisors, and managers.

  20. Support leadership development and succession planning within regional store networks.

  21. Business Partnering & Advisory

  22. Collaborate with business heads to drive strategic HR initiatives that improve productivity and reduce turnover.

  23. Provide data-driven HR insights and workforce analytics to support decision-making.

  24. Serve as a trusted advisor to retail leaders, offering practical HR solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably within retail, chain, FMCG, or service-oriented industries.

  • Proven strength in recruitment, performance incentive design, and employee relations.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal influence skills.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-location operations.
