About the Role
As a HSE Manager with FSM/SFSM you will lead the development and implementation of fire safety, health, and environmental programs across critical infrastructure in Singapore.
You will ensure compliance with local regulations, support the client's global EHS mission, and foster a proactive safety culture that protects people, the planet, and the business.
This role integrates fire safety leadership with broader EHS responsibilities, aligning with the client's ESG goals and CBRE's operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Fire Safety Management (Singapore Regulatory Compliance)
- Serve as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager under SCDF regulations.
- Develop and maintain the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Arson Prevention Plan (APP).
- Conduct bi-annual fire drills, fire risk assessments, and inspections.
- Supervise the Fire Command Centre and ensure readiness of fire protection systems.
- Liaise with SCDF and other authorities on fire safety matters.
- Endorse Fire Certificate renewals and ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leadership
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across all stakeholders.
- Assist the Critical Facilities Manager (CFM) in implementing EHS playbooks and procedures.
- Monitor and manage operational and safety risks, including injury and incident reporting.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments across critical infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and ESG standards.
Strategic Alignment with the Clients' EHS Mission
- Empower people through training and awareness programs.
- Support Meta's governance, risk, and compliance efforts by maintaining high safety standards.
- Enhance ESG performance by integrating sustainable fire safety and EHS practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve EHS systems, technologies, and controls.
- Monitor emerging risks and trends that may impact business or community safety.
Qualifications & Skills
- Senior Fire Safety Manager certification (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in EHS or fire safety.
- Valid WSH Officer license with the Ministry of Manpower (Singapore).
- Additional certifications as required by SCDF or local authorities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and guide stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage sensitive and complex safety issues with strategic insight.
