Import & Export Coordinator (Contract)
Job Summary
Responsible for managing end-to-end import and export processes, including sales contracts, order processing, shipping documentation, permits, and billing.
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant handling of all logistics, customs, and trade requirements.
Key Responsibilities
(a) Import – Steel Purchases
- Prepare and manage import purchase orders and contract documentation.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of shipping documents.
- Submit import permits accurately and on time.
(b) Export Sales
- Prepare export sales contracts, process sales orders, and issue billing to customers.
- Handle export permits and certificates of origin (CO) as required.
- Ensure timely receipt of customer payments.
- Verify freight vendor invoices and raise PR/PO/SES for timely submission to IV.
(c) Local Sales
- Prepare local sales contracts, process orders, and issue customer billing.
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Shipping.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in import/export operations.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, Word, and trade platforms (TradeWeb / TradeNet).
- Familiar with freight forwarding processes, customs clearance, Incoterms, and shipping terms.
- Proficiency in Mandarin as you'll be liaising with Chinese-speaking customers and management.
