Kathryn Stanford Consulting (KSC) is a leading professional services firm committed to raising the standards of transparency, trust, and performance in the legal and advocacy sector.
We are seeking a results-driven SEO and Organic Marketing Specialist to join our in-house Marketing and Communications team.
In this role, you'll lead the development and optimisation of KSC's digital presence across our brands — with a focus on search visibility, organic content strategy, and audience engagement.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about content-driven growth, digital storytelling, and SEO within a regulated, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
1.
SEO & Organic Growth Strategy
- Develop and implement KSC's SEO roadmap across websites, blogs, and landing pages.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits to identify organic growth opportunities.
- Optimise web copy, meta content, and site structure to improve visibility and conversion.
- Track and report on search performance, implementing data-led improvements.

Content Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Manage and maintain a unified content calendar across all KSC entities.
- Collaborate with internal subject-matter experts to produce SEO-aligned articles, case studies, and white papers.
- Develop organic content that positions KSC as a thought leader in veterans' law, advocacy, and professional services.
- Align messaging with KSC's tone of voice and brand ethics.

Social Media & Community Engagement
- Oversee KSC's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.) with a focus on engagement and professional credibility.
- Build and manage organic campaigns promoting education, reform, and advocacy awareness.
- Engage with veteran and professional communities online to increase brand trust and visibility.

Analytics & Reporting
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor traffic, ranking, and engagement.
- Produce monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Run A/B testing and data-driven content optimisation to refine digital strategy.
5.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO, Legal, and Operations teams to align marketing initiatives with corporate strategy.
- Support new service launches, reform campaigns, and media releases through optimised content and organic promotion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 3–5 years' experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital strategy — with at least 1–2 years in a legal firm, consulting agency, or similar professional services environment.
- Demonstrated success improving organic visibility and engagement for regulated or reputation-sensitive brands.
- Strong command of SEO best practices, content optimisation, and keyword research.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a professional, compliant tone.
- Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven team.
- Understanding of veterans' affairs, public policy, or legal advocacy is advantageous.
