This is a senior-level, hands-on recruitment role.
We are seeking someone with proven experience who can take ownership, hit the ground running, and execute independently from day one .
You will be expected to proactively identify gaps, propose and establish solutions for missing or weak processes/structures, and navigate multiple brands, stakeholders, and recruitment channels with minimal guidance .
- Take full ownership of manpower planning and scheduling; proactively identify staffing gaps, replacements, and fulfillment priorities.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all staffing matters; ensure strict adherence to hiring SOPs.
- Develop and maintain career progression plans, training programs, remuneration structures, referral programs, and commission schemes.
- Collaborate with Operations to screen, test, and train candidates effectively.
- Proactively identify, plan, and execute external talent initiatives : lead recruitment drives, career fairs, school partnerships, and other creative sourcing channels to ensure a steady talent pipeline.
- Handle recruitment across multiple brands and outlets in the Beauty & Wellness industry , covering both white-collar and blue-collar roles.
- Analyze staff costing such as average cost per output for a role, market salary trends, and productivity benchmarks; use insights to propose competitive salary and commission structures that make sense for the role.
- Work independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness to get results without constant supervision.
Requirements:
- Proven network of candidates and industry contacts ready to tap into.
- Demonstrated ability to hire efficiently, balancing your recruitment cost versus # of hires.
- Able to work with limited hiring platforms and tools, by expanding into other platforms.
- Strong knowledge of MOM regulations and HR compliance matters (e.g., leave pro-ration for part-timers).
- Highly independent, self-starter mindset; able to own processes end-to-end.
- Skilled in building rapport across all levels – HQ, operations, and candidates – to understand needs and deliver solutions.
- Excellent communicator: clear and concise.
- Strong interpersonal intelligence: able to navigate company culture, mediate conflicts, and make things work effectively.
- Able to set expectations with management, provide regular updates, and operate without being micromanaged.
- Systematic and structured: maintain accurate records, track progress, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset: able to analyze performance, output, and costs to make informed recruitment and compensation recommendations.
